Mark Roberds has been with MicroLumen since 1987. With almost 30 years in the industry, Mark brings a wealth of experience to MicroLumen. Mark was heavily involved in the startup of MicroLumen, and he designed many of the processes still followed today.
Scott Roberds has been with MicroLumen since 1987. He attended the University of Tennessee before joining MicroLumen, and he has almost 30 years of experience in the medical tubing industry. Scott has been instrumental in the growth of MicroLumen, spearheading diversification of the company into additional lines of business.
Roger Roberds founded MicroLumen in 1987, and has served as its CEO since its inception. Roger graduated from Washington University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and has over fifty years of experience in the medical tubing industry. Roger personally designed the original machines used for production of medical tubing
Tim Lynch, Vice President of Operations, has been with MicroLumen since 1998. Tim holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri, as well as an MBA from the Keller School of Management. Tim manages the daily operations of MicroLumen and also weighs in on design and development issues. Tim is a Certified Quality Engineer and Certified Auditor. He holds a US Patent for a medical device design, and has been published in Medical Device Technology magazine.
Rod Peifer, Vice President of Research and Development, has been with MicroLumen since 2002. Rod holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. Rod works directly with customers on design and development of new products, in addition to supporting current product manufacturing. Rod has over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry, including ten years working with finished device design and development prior to joining MicroLumen.
Robin Reynolds, Vice President of Finance, has been with MicroLumen since 2007. Robin is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy with a B.S. in Systems Engineering and also earned a BA in Accounting from Saint Leo University. Robin manages all finance and accounting for the company, as well as human resources and payroll. Robin has over twenty years of experience in the field of accounting.
Joe Slaven, Vice President of Materials, has been with MicroLumen since 1994. Joe attended the University of New Mexico. Joe coordinates all purchasing and manages the inventory at MicroLumen. Prior to becoming Vice President of Materials, Joe served as the Production Manager of MicroLumen for over fifteen years, and has been a key player in ensuring on time delivery and quality of production.
Cynthia Soto, Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, joined MicroLumen in September 2021. Cynthia has a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, and a M.S. in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Tissue Engineering and Bioinstrumentation from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Cynthia is responsible for all aspects of the quality systems at MicroLumen, including quality assurance, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance. She has over 18 years of experience in in the medical device industry and has a research article published in the journal Technology and Disability.
